The Perfect Fit

Several years ago Lang's Garden showed up at our Atlanta showroom with an array of empty plastic growers pots in hand. They’d decided to buy Anamese pottery that fit the grow pots they regularly encounter. 

Their reasoning was twofold:

First, for staging at their garden center, it just made sense to plop the grow pots into Anamese pottery without the hassle of planting and replanting.

Second, a large part of their business is seasonal potted plants. Customers holding up and eyeing a poinsettia's grower pot, trying to calculate by eye its dimensions, wondering if it would fit in that terracotta planter they bought last year, was a familiar sight. By purchasing pottery they know fits their growers pots, they have happy customers who always know they can plop a new plant in their old pot. In the same vein, customers love walking out of the store with a plant dropped right into in a new piece of pottery, grower bucket and all, with no replanting necessary. 

So, they were able to solve two problems at once by matching their grow pots with much of our pottery. With a little planning this is a solid win-win! Here’s a sample list of Anamese pottery based on common grower’s pot sizes that I put together simply by using our Favorite Finder.
